WHAT ARE "CROWS FEET"?
Crow’s feet are wrinkles- specifically of the skin at the outsides of the eyes. They are caused by contraction of the orbicularis oculi muscles. Medically, they’re called “lateral canthal rhytids”, which makes them sound even worse!
All wrinkles can be either dynamic or static. Dynamic wrinkles appear with movement like frowning or laughing. Static lines don’t change muscle movement. Over time, most dynamic wrinkles become static. Repetitive movement itself contributes to thinning of the skin and the subcutaneous tissues below the skin. The aged look is compounded by rough or sallow or dull skin and any pigmentation caused by chronic sun exposure and UV damage to the skin. With crow’s feet, the offending movements are blinking and closing your eyes! These movements are operated by the orbicularis oculi muscles around the eyes.

WHAT ARE MICRONEEDLES?
Recently, dissolving anti-aging microneedle patches have been successfully used to reduce crow’s feet. New technology has meant we can make microneedles out of hyaluronic acid which is a great skin ingredient in and of itself because it is well tolerated by the skin, has low rate of immune system reactions and has its own anti-aging and skin healing properties. WHAT ACTIVE INGREDIENTS DO I NEED FOR TARGETING MY CROWS FEET?
The most evident ingredients to combat crows feet are Retinal, L-Ascorbic Acid, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid and Ceramides. Niacinamide acts as an antioxidant, and assists in repair of cell DNA. When it comes to skin ageing, niacinamide increases skin elasticity, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, reduces blotchiness and general sallowness.
The optimum Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to have in skincare is still a matter of debate. However, there is some emerging evidence for medium-size HA to be absorbed by the skin, promoting wound healing and skin regeneration.
The emerging evidence suggests that smaller ceramides can improve the skin barrier function which helps with skin hydration and decreasing skin inflammation.

HOW TO USE
Eye Cream
Use 1⁄2 to 1 pump on fingertip and apply to skin under and around the eyes. As the final step before applying Zinc Shade in the morning. Can be used at other times as needed
Ageless: Microneedles
Step 1:
For use at night on clean skin or even better, over skincare. Ensure that skin is dry.
Step 2:
Remove patch from plastic packing. Remove the white protective strip surrounding the patch. Make sure not to touch the needles
Step 3:
Apply patch to the desired area. Smooth patch over the skin, applying gentle pressure. A light prickling/ scratching sensation will be felt.
Repeat until the prickling sensation is no longer felt.
Step 4:
Leave the patch on for at least 20 minutes or (preferably) overnight.
Things to note:
It is normal for a residue to remain after removing the patch (this is excess hyaluronic acid).
Recommended minimum usage frequency: 2 times weekly.
While Ageless patches will have a small effect after just one use (due to the application of hyaluronic acid). Studies showing the real effectiveness of dissolving microneedle patches allow for 8 to 12 weeks.
Ultimate A
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to the fingertips and apply to the face after cleansing as the final step in your night-time routine night. Also, for use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms.
