This duo pairs high-performance, evidence-based formulations which are gentle on your skin, but not on hyperpigmentation. It’s designed to tackle uneven skin tone and texture.
It also helps to support hydration, the skin barrier and skin roughness. If that’s not enough it is also excellent for helping keep your skin looking younger, brighter and more vibrant!
Golden Duo contains:
Enlighten Gold: A moisturiser powered by PHAs, Niacinamide and 4nB to help support barrier function and hydration while reducing the appearance of uneven skin tone and dark spots.
Ultimate A Gold: A next-generation Retinal based night cream that helps refine skin texture and visibly smooth fine lines for firmer, more even-looking skin. And with a long list of ingredients including 4nB it also helps zero in on uneven looking skin tone.
Ultimate A Gold (Retinal) may transfer onto white or light-coloured fabrics. For best results, we recommend using darker clothing or surfaces to avoid visible marks.

Retinal
Also known as Vitamin A, Retinal is a next-generation retinoid used in skincare to help refine skin texture and improve the appearance of uneven tone and visible signs of ageing. It’s well tolerated and suitable for most skin types, including those that find traditional retinoids too harsh.
Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
4-n-butylresorcinol
4-n-Butylresorcinol helps improve the appearance of pigmentation and supports an even-looking skin tone.
Ceramides
Emerging evidence suggests that smaller ceramides support the skin’s surface and help maintain hydration and the appearance of a healthy skin barrier.
Hyaluronic Acid
The optimum size of Hyaluronic Acid for skincare is still a topic of research. Emerging evidence suggests that medium-size HA can support skin hydration and help improve the appearance of skin smoothness and plumpness.
Gluconolactone
Gluconolactone is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) with gentle exfoliating and hydrating properties. It helps to remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, supporting a smoother and more refined appearance without the irritation often linked to stronger acids.
ENLIGHTEN GOLD:
When you first start using Enlighten Gold, pigmentation may appear darker before it lightens, which is normal. It’s because the areas of pigmentation are more stubborn and as skin tone generally starts to change, the pigmented areas are slower to change than the surrounding skin, which can, at first, make spots look more visible.
Give it 3–4 months of consistent use: it's the safest, most evidence-based way to reduce pigmentation.

Ultimate A Gold
A Retinal evening cream formulated for those looking for an advanced night-time skincare option. Created with tolerance in mind, it combines ingredients to support skin that can be sensitive, reactive, or prone to irritation.
Retinal (Retinaldehyde) is the more effective and gentle form of Vitamin A. It works faster and more effectively than Retinol, and all without the irritation! Because Retinal has fewer steps to convert into the active form of Vitamin A in the skin, it is used a lower concentrations than Retinol, so while it is more effective it is also very well tolerated.
