The Science Club T&C’s
1. Program Overview
ESK Rewards (“ESK Rewards”, “Program” or “Science Club”) is a loyalty program which is operated by Evidence Skincare. By enrolling and participating in the Program, you agree that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and are bound by them.
Evidence Skincare (ESK) reserves the right to amend, alter, withdraw, or terminate the Program, any feature or benefit (“Benefits”) or the Terms and Conditions of the program at any time, subject to applicable law. Any such change may affect Benefits, which may have accumulated, as well as any future Benefits. Benefits of the Program are offered at the sole discretion of ESK
2. Defined Terms
Activation Date:
The commencement date for your ESK Rewards membership, also known as the Join Date.
Anniversary:
The date the ESK Rewards Membership started or the date which membership commenced.
Benefit:
Those features of the program that provide members with points, coupons, and rewards which may change from time to time.
ESK Points or Points:
The Program awards points, known as ESK Points (Points), for purchases made at ESK. Points are earned based on the dollar amount spent in a transaction, dependent on a member’s ‘level status’ when the ESK Rewards membership is included in the transaction.
ESK Rewards / Program / The Science Club:
The loyalty program which is operated by Evidence Skincare and provides benefits to its members when they visit ESK online.
Member, Members or Membership:
A person who holds a current and active ESK Rewards membership.
Other Benefits:
Other promotions and special benefits which may be offered to you from time to time.
Level / Level Status / Tier:
The ESK Rewards tier the member enters is determined by their spend level per year, which defines which benefits they are entitled to.
3. Joining The Science Club.
Customers can join by creating an account.
4. Participation in the Program
The Science Club benefits are only available at eskcare.com
To participate in the Program, you must have a valid e-mail address.
Individuals who join ESK’s The Science Club agree to be bound by these member Terms and Conditions.
The Member Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time without prior notification by ESK in its absolute discretion. Any modification to the Terms and Conditions may be applied to a member retrospectively.
5. Membership Enrolment and Activation
To enrol in the Program, Members must sign up to The Science Club online by creating an account at eskcare.com.
Members must provide a valid email address and create a unique password when joining. These details will be used to log into the individual’s account.
Members are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of their password and can change it at any time via the My Account feature on the ESK website. ESK takes no responsibility for any loss arising from unauthorised use of a Member’s password or a Member’s failure to comply with these provisions.
At any time, Members may only have one account to the Science Club. Members may not transfer their account or Rewards to another person or personal account.
6. Levels
The Science Club is free to join and maintain a membership.
‘Levels’ are valid for 12 months, from when the user creates an account or moves tiers. If a user previously had an account with ESK, then, levels will be valid for 12 months from the launch date at 11am 01/11/2022AEST.
Members are allocated to levels on the basis of their spend
per rolling year.
Users may move up and down levels depending on their spend per 12 months. Levels:
Level 1 - $0AUD - $500AUD spend
Level 2 - $500AUD - $1000AUD spend
Level 3 - $1000AUD - $1500AUD spend
Level 4 - $1500+AUD spend
When a user has stayed in the same level for 12 months they will be allocated to a new level for the next year dependent on the last 12 months spend.However, they will still retain their points (unless expired - see points below).
A member may move down a level if they request a refund.
Members can check their level status in the ‘My Science Club’ account section when they login. Members will also be notified via email when they move up a level.
7. Points
Depending on which level a member is in, a member will gain a point for every dollar spent.
Level 1 - $1AUD = 1 point
Level 2 - $1AUD = 1 point
Level 3 - $1AUD = 1 point
Level 4 - $1AUD = 1.25 points
If a member pays in a different currency, points will be converted to the currency dependent on AUD.
Points expire after 12 months of ‘inactivity’. This means if a member has not used or purchased from ESK in 12 months, their points will expire.
Members must be logged into their account to gain points, use benefits, and move up and down levels.
If an order is cancelled or refunded, ESK will deduct the points gained and allocated spend which may affect Levels.
8. Coupons
A user can redeem coupons for points in their account when logged in. Once a coupon is redeemed, it cannot be swapped for another coupon or refunded for points or money. Coupons can only be redeemed and used once.
Once the coupon is redeemed, it will sit in the user's account until used or expired.
The Science Club coupons cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupons.
9. Marketing, Promotions and Personal Information
By enrolling in the Program, Members will be automatically enrolled into and consent to, receiving electronic messages and marketing communications from Evidence Skincare including but not limited to, the ESK newsletters, marketing and promotional material as well as other email and SMS communications.
