Where it all started

At 50, actress Selma Blair, already navigating the realities of fame, motherhood, and life with an autoimmune condition, found herself facing a new kind of battle: a full-blown skin crisis. After a facial went wrong and was followed by overly harsh products, her skin turned raw, inflamed, and painfully reactive.

"I didn't even want to leave the house," Selma recalls. "My skin was a mess."

As someone who needs to be camera-ready, Selma couldn't just go makeup-free, but every product made things worse. Her sensitive skin, already under stress from treatments for her autoimmune disease, had reached its breaking point.

An unexpected solution - from the other side of the world

Out of desperation, Selma booked a facial with a newly arrived Australian facialist. One look at her red, burning skin and the facialist returned with skincare from ESK (Evidence Skincare), developed by Dr Ginni Mansberg- a women's health expert who had struggled with rosacea and couldn't find products that were both truly science-backed and genuinely gentle.

Within days, Selma's skin calmed. The burning stopped. The redness faded. But the real surprise came next: her skin didn't just heal - it looked better than it had in years. Smoother texture. Reduced pores. Fewer fine lines. It was everything she'd hoped for from anti-aging skincare, but without the flare-ups

RANDOM CHANCE OR FATE?

Fate stepped in. Later that month, Ginni was flying to New York for her son’s wedding, and Selma happened to be in town accepting an award. They met for coffee, and clicked instantly. Two passionate midlife women, bonded by personal health journeys and a shared obsession with skin health.
