Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
When you first start using Enlighten, pigmentation may look darker before it gets lighter, that’s normal. It’s because the skin around the pigment is evening out, making spots more visible initially. Give it 3–4 months of consistent use: it's the safest, most evidence-based way to reduce pigmentation.
For even better results, we recommend targeting all four pathways of melanin production. That’s where Vitamin C and Retinal (Vitamin A) come in, both are included in our Hero Kit and Pigmentation Kit to help accelerate and support long-term pigment fading.
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing and under sunscreen in the morning. Can also be applied in the evening.

A cream formulated with 4-n-butylresorcinol (0.1%) and Niacinamide (5%) for a brighter skin and a more even looking skin tone.
While skin tone may start to appear more even over a 3 - 4 week period. Visible improvements can often take 2 - 3 months to start becoming more evident.

Yes! Enlighten is designed for daily use, once or twice a day, your choice. It plays well with Vitamin C in the morning and/or Retinal at night.
Our Enlighten is gentle and suitable for all skin types. We do not recommend using Hydroquinone and 4-n-butylresorcinol at the same time, as this can be too harsh on the skin barrier. You can alternate the two as you transition from Hydroquinone to 4-n-butylresorcinol.
