We've blended high strength 4nB (a gentle, and highly effective pigmentation fighter) with PHAs (think of them as a soft exfoliant that plays nice with sensitive skin) and niacinamide to support your skin’s barrier to effectively improve your skin. Whether your skin is oily, dry, or somewhere in between, this pigmentation moisturiser fits right in.

4-n-Butylresorcinol helps improve the appearance of pigmentation and supports an even-looking skin tone.
Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
Gluconolactone
Gluconolactone is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) with gentle exfoliating and hydrating properties. It helps to remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, supporting a smoother and more refined appearance without the irritation often linked to stronger acids.
When you first start using Enlighten Gold, pigmentation may appear darker before it lightens, which is normal. It’s because the areas of pigmentation are more stubborn and as skin tone generally starts to change, the pigmented areas are slower to change than the surrounding skin, which can, at first, make spots look more visible. Give it 3–4 months of consistent use: it's the safest, most evidence-based way to reduce pigmentation.
For even better results, we recommend targeting all four pathways of melanin production. That’s where Vitamin B3 and Retinal (Vitamin A) come in; both are included in our Hero Kit and Pigmentation Kit to help accelerate and support long-term pigment fading. Vitamin C is also suggested as a 4th pathway, however it is unstable and does not mix well with many other ingredients. While the evidence for stabilised forms of Vitamin C (like Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) are weak, it has been included in the hope that evidence for it will improve in the future.
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing and under sunscreen in the morning. Can also be applied in the evening.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact customer care.

Use Enlighten Gold as your moisturiser after serums (or straight after cleansing if you’re skipping serums).

This formula is designed to tackle stubborn hyperpigmentation while respecting and improving the skin barrier, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. For best results we suggest pairing Enlighten Gold (in the morning) with Ultimate A Gold (at night), creating a simple morning and evening routine that effectively and gently targets but uneven skin tone as well as the common signs of skin aging.

Yes! Enlighten Gold is designed for daily use, once or twice a day, your choice. It plays well with Vitamin C in the morning and/or Retinal at night.
Our Enlighten Gold is gentle and suitable for all skin types. While no studies have been done on whether the two ingredients can be used at the same time, as a matter of caution, we do not recommend using Hydroquinone and 4-n-butylresorcinol at the same time.
