Retinal
Also known as Vitamin A, Retinal is a next-generation retinoid used in skincare to help refine skin texture and improve the appearance of uneven tone and visible signs of ageing. It’s well tolerated and suitable for most skin types, including those that find traditional retinoids too harsh.
Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
Glycolic and Lactic Acid
Also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Glycolic and Lactic Acid exfoliate and smooth the skin surfaces.
L-Ascorbic Acid
Also known as Vitamin C, L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is a well-studied antioxidant that helps improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and supports smoother-looking skin.
4-n-butylresorcinol
4-n-Butylresorcinol helps improve the appearance of pigmentation and supports an even-looking skin tone.
Ferulic Acid
Ferulic acid’s emerging evidence suggests it can improve the effectiveness of Vitamin C and help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Ceramides
Emerging evidence suggests that smaller ceramides support the skin’s surface and help maintain hydration and the appearance of a healthy skin barrier.
Hyaluronic Acid
The optimum size of Hyaluronic Acid for skincare is still a topic of research. Emerging evidence suggests that medium-size HA can support skin hydration and help improve the appearance of skin smoothness and plumpness.
Lactobionic Acid
Lactobionic Acid is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) that works as a gentle exfoliant and humectant. It helps to smooth skin texture and improve the appearance of dullness without the irritation often associated with stronger acids. PHAs like Lactobionic Acid also attract moisture, supporting hydrated and visibly refreshed skin.
*Ultimate A Gold (Retinal) may transfer onto white or light-coloured fabrics. For best results, we recommend using darker clothing or surfaces to avoid visible marks.

1. CALMING CLEANSE:
Wet face with warm water, apply 2-3 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and gently massage on face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
2. C FORTE:
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing in the morning. Also for use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms.
3. ZINC SHADE:
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face as the last step in your morning regime. Also, for use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms.

The kit contains five products formulated to target the key signs of mature skin, fine lines, wrinkles, dull, uneven tone, and pore appearance. These are: Calming Cleanse (morning and evening cleanser), C Forte (morning Vitamin C serum), Zinc Shade (morning SPF), Smooth Serum (evening serum), and Ultimate A Gold (evening Retinal night cream).
Retinal (Vitamin A / Retinaldehyde) has the strongest and most extensive evidence of any ingredient for reducing the visible signs of skin ageing. It stimulates skin cell renewal and collagen production, helping to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin elasticity, fade pigmentation, and refine texture over time. Retinal is the most effective and least irritating form of Vitamin A, it requires only one conversion step in the skin to become active, making it significantly more efficient and better tolerated than Retinol.
Mature skin tends to be drier and more sensitive, and benefits from a cleanser that preserves the skin's natural moisture balance rather than one that actively exfoliates. The Calming Cleanse is a cream based formula that gently removes impurities while keeping the skin barrier intact and comfortable before applying the actives in this kit.
C Forte (16% L-Ascorbic Acid) may be too strong for very sensitive or reactive skin, and Smooth Serum is not recommended for rosacea-prone skin. If your mature skin is also on the sensitive side, the Rosacea Kit may be a better starting point.
