Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
Glycolic and Lactic Acid
Also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Glycolic and Lactic Acid exfoliate and smooth the skin surfaces.
4-n-butylresorcinol
4-n-Butylresorcinol helps improve the appearance of pigmentation and supports an even-looking skin tone.
Zinc Oxide
Zinc Oxide is an ingredient that forms a protective layer on the skin and helps reduce visible signs of irritation from environmental exposure.
Ceramides
Emerging evidence suggests that smaller ceramides support the skin’s surface and help maintain hydration and the appearance of a healthy skin barrier.
Gluconolactone
Gluconolactone is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) with gentle exfoliating and hydrating properties. It helps to remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, supporting a smoother and more refined appearance without the irritation often linked to stronger acids.

1. Hydroxy Cleanser:
Wet Face with warm water, apply 2-3 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and gently massage into lather on face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
For added benefit on oily and acne prone skin; following lathering, leave for 10 minutes prior to washing off
2. B Calm:
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing in the morning. Also for use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms. For use on normal skin, oilier and acne prone skin.
3. Zinc Shade:
Apply 2 – 3 pumps following Serum in the morning. Note: Not intended for prolonged exposure to harsh sun.

Apply 2 – 3 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing in the evening. Also for use on décolletage. On sensitive skin use 1 pump every second day. Gradually increase dose and frequency

Apply 2 – 3 pumps to face (and other areas of hyperpigmentation) following Serum at night.

"Before I started using ESK, my skin was very dry and almost impervious to products. My old products used to feel like they were sitting ON my skin, not making any difference. While I don't think I've noticed any real change in the pigmentation of my skin, and I would never expect to look younger, I have certainly noticed that the ESK products feel like they're being absorbed into my skin and providing nourishment. My skin is less itchy and irritated. I added Repair + to my night routine at the suggestion of the helpful ESK team. This has been a great addition and prevented my skin feeling tight and dry while adapting to the ESK products.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer Zinc Shade in a larger size. I don't want to feel like I'm skimping on sunscreen!"

- Hydroxy Cleanser: A soap-free, pH-balanced cleanser (pH 4.5–5) that removes impurities without disrupting the skin barrier.
- B Calm: Contains niacinamide (Vitamin B3), ceramides, and salicylic acid. Niacinamide works by inhibiting pigment transfer inside the skin, as well as supporting the barrier and managing excess oil, common during pregnancy due to hormonal shifts.
- Zinc Shade: A broad-spectrum SPF 15 day cream using zinc oxide. Sun protection is the single most important step in managing melasma, without it, the other actives are fighting an uphill battle.
- Smooth Serum: A night serum with glycolic acid (3%), lactic acid (1%), and gluconolactone (1%).
- Enlighten Gold: Contains 4-n-Butylresorcinol (4nB) and niacinamide. 4nB is the most potent inhibitor of human tyrosinase currently available, and tyrosinase is what kicks off melanin production in the first place. Studies show 84% of people get significant pigmentation reduction with 4nB, even when used alone. As always, discuss with your clinician.
Vitamin A (including retinal and retinol) isn't recommended during pregnancy or while trying to conceive. We've left it out of this kit entirely. Retinal will be here waiting when you're ready.
As your overall skin tone begins to even out, areas of pigmentation can appear more prominent by contrast. It's the same reason a stain looks darker on a freshly cleaned floor. It's not getting worse, your baseline is improving.
