Retinal
Also known as Vitamin A, Retinal is a next-generation retinoid used in skincare to help refine skin texture and improve the appearance of uneven tone and visible signs of ageing. It’s well tolerated and suitable for most skin types, including those that find traditional retinoids too harsh.
Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
Glycolic and Lactic Acid
Also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Glycolic and Lactic Acid exfoliate and smooth the skin surfaces.
L-Ascorbic Acid
Also known as Vitamin C, L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is a well-studied antioxidant that helps improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and supports smoother-looking skin.
Zinc Oxide

Hyaluronic Acid
The optimum size of Hyaluronic Acid for skincare is still a topic of research. Emerging evidence suggests that medium-size HA can support skin hydration and help improve the appearance of skin smoothness and plumpness.
Ceramides
Emerging evidence suggests that smaller ceramides support the skin’s surface and help maintain hydration and the appearance of a healthy skin barrier.
Lactobionic Acid
Lactobionic Acid is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) that works as a gentle exfoliant and humectant. It helps to smooth skin texture and improve the appearance of dullness without the irritation often associated with stronger acids. PHAs like Lactobionic Acid also attract moisture, supporting hydrated and visibly refreshed skin.
Gluconolactone
Gluconolactone is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) with gentle exfoliating and hydrating properties. It helps to remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, supporting a smoother and more refined appearance without the irritation often linked to stronger acids.
When you first start using Enlighten Gold, pigmentation may appear darker before it lightens, which is normal. It’s because the areas of pigmentation are more stubborn and as skin tone generally starts to change, the pigmented areas are slower to change than the surrounding skin, which can, at first, make spots look more visible. Give it 3–4 months of consistent use: it's the safest, most evidence-based way to reduce pigmentation.
*Ultimate A Gold (Retinal) may transfer onto white or light-coloured fabrics. For best results, we recommend using darker clothing or surfaces to avoid visible marks.

1. Calming Cleanse:
For use as a gentle and calming cleanser: Wet face with warm water, apply 2-3 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and gently massage on face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
For use as a makeup remover: Apply to a cotton swab and gently wipe makeup off.
2. C Forte:
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing in the morning. Also for use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms. For use on normal skin (in a humid climate) & oilier skin. Note: on acne prone skin patch test and start with half recommended dosage, keeping away from the “T” zone. If breakout continues, discontinue use.
3. Zinc Shade:
Apply 2 – 3 pumps following Serum in the morning.
Note: Not intended for prolonged exposure to harsh sun.
4. Enlighten Gold:
Apply 2 – 3 pumps to face (and other areas of hyperpigmentation) following C Forte in the morning. For enhanced results, use also in the evening following Ultimate A Gold.

The kit contains six products chosen to target pigmentation from multiple angles while supporting hydration, skin texture, and overall skin health. These are: Calming Cleanse (morning and evening cleanser), C Forte (morning Vitamin C serum), Enlighten Gold (morning active moisturiser), Zinc Shade (morning SPF), Smooth Serum (evening serum), and Ultimate A Gold (evening Retinal night cream).
Pigmentation is best tackled by targeting multiple pathways at once. Enlighten Gold's 4-n-Butylresorcinol (4nB) inhibits tyrosinase, the key enzyme responsible for excess melanin production, working directly at the source of pigment. C Forte's L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) acts as an antioxidant and helps prevent further pigment formation from UV-induced oxidative stress. Smooth Serum's AHAs (Glycolic and Lactic Acid) gently exfoliate to support surface renewal and help existing pigment fade faster. Ultimate A Gold's Retinal (Vitamin A) boosts cell turnover, helping to flush pigment to the surface and accelerate its fading, while also tackling fine lines and uneven skin tone overnight. Zinc Shade protects all of this progress, unprotected UV exposure is the primary driver of ongoing pigmentation, so daily SPF is non-negotiable. Using all six together targets the most pathways and delivers the best chance of visible results.

"Before I started using ESK, my skin was very dry and almost impervious to products. My old products used to feel like they were sitting ON my skin, not making any difference. While I don't think I've noticed any real change in the pigmentation of my skin, and I would never expect to look younger, I have certainly noticed that the ESK products feel like they're being absorbed into my skin and providing nourishment. My skin is less itchy and irritated. I added Repair + to my night routine at the suggestion of the helpful ESK team. This has been a great addition and prevented my skin feeling tight and dry while adapting to the ESK products.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer Zinc Shade in a larger size. I don't want to feel like I'm skimping on sunscreen!"
