Complexion Correction Patches are designed to support the appearance of a more even-looking skin tone, including areas with visible dark spots or pigmentation. Each patch contains 2,000 tiny dissolving hyaluronic acid microneedles infused with 4-n-Butylresorcinol, Retinal, Niacinamide, Green Tea Extract, Resveratrol, and Ferulic Acid. These microneedles gently deliver ingredients to where they work best helping with the appearance of a smoother, refreshed, and more uniform skin tone over time.

Description
Combined technologies of microneedling and evidence-based ingredients to support a visibly more even skin tone.
Each patch contains 2,000 dissolving hyaluronic acid microneedles. The tip of each needle is infused with 4-n-butylresorcinol (4NB 0.3%), Retinal (Vitamin A 0.1%), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3 4%), Green Tea Extract, Resveratrol, and Ferulic Acid.
While Complexion Correction patches may provide a small hydrating effect after a single use due to hyaluronic acid, published studies suggest more consistent changes in skin appearance may be observed over 8 to 12 weeks with repeated use.
About microneedles
Advances in microneedle technology allow active skincare ingredients to be incorporated into dissolving microneedles. These small needles can painlessly enter the outermost layer of the skin, helping deliver active ingredients to where they work best.
Dissolving microneedle patches are increasingly used in skincare to support the appearance of a more even skin tone and texture. Greater effects on the appearance of skin tone may be enhanced when microneedles are used in combination with other products containing the same active ingredients, targeting the creation of a more even looking skin tone.
Evidence
Retinal
Also known as Vitamin A, Retinal is a next-generation retinoid used in skincare to help refine skin texture and improve the appearance of uneven tone and visible signs of ageing. It’s well tolerated and suitable for most skin types, including those that find traditional retinoids too harsh.
Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
4-n-butylresorcinol
4-n-Butylresorcinol helps improve the appearance of pigmentation and supports an even-looking skin tone.
Dissolving Microneedles
Dissolving microneedles are designed to deliver skincare ingredients into the skin in a precise and controlled way. Since 2016, research into dissolving microneedles has advanced, and they are now commonly used in skincare to support the absorption of active ingredients and improve the appearance of skin texture and smoothness.
Emerging evidence
Hyaluronic Acid
The optimum size of Hyaluronic Acid for skincare is still a topic of research. Emerging evidence suggests that medium-size HA can support skin hydration and help improve the appearance of skin smoothness and plumpness.
Ferulic Acid
Ferulic acid’s emerging evidence suggests it can improve the effectiveness of Vitamin C and help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Green Tea
Green Tea Extract is a plant-based antioxidant that supports the skin’s surface and helps maintain an even-looking tone and smoother texture.
Resveratrol
Resveratrol is a plant-derived antioxidant that helps support an even-looking skin tone and improves the appearance of skin texture and smoothness.
Usage
Step 1:
For use at night on clean skin or even better, over skincare. Ensure that skin is dry.
Step 2:
Remove patch from plastic packing. Remove the white protective strip surrounding the patch. Make sure not to touch the needles
Step 3:
Apply patch to the desired area. Smooth patch over the skin, applying gentle pressure. A light prickling/ scratching sensation will be felt.
Repeat until the prickling sensation is no longer felt.
Step 4:
Leave the patch on for at least 20 minutes or (preferably) overnight.
Things to note:
It is normal for a residue to remain after removing the patch (this is excess hyaluronic acid).
Recommended minimum usage frequency: 2 times weekly for 8-12 weeks.
Recommended minimum usage 1 time bi-weekly for maintenance.
While starting Complexion Correction patches will have a small hydrating effect after just one use (due to the application of hyaluronic acid). Studies showing the real effectiveness of dissolving microneedle patches allow for 8 to 12 weeks.
