Sensitive skincare
Sensitive skin is super common. In fact, studies have found that more than 50% of women and 40% of men have skin that is sensitive at least some of the time. Studying sensitive skin is difficult because getting objective measurements of improvement is difficult. It also makes sensitive skincare recommendations a bit tricky. But to protect your skin barrier, avoid soap, opting instead for a soap-free cleanser. Avoiding the sun’s rays by using a zinc based broad spectrum SPF moisturiser is also essential. Other skincare triggers to avoid are many preservatives and perfumes.

Sensitive skin is skin that is generally less tolerant to skincare and cosmetics. You may find your skin tingles, burns, stings, itches, or even just feels tight, especially on the face.
