4-n-butylresorcinol
4-n-Butylresorcinol helps improve the appearance of pigmentation and supports an even-looking skin tone.
Retinal
Also known as Vitamin A, Retinal is a next-generation retinoid used in skincare to help refine skin texture and improve the appearance of uneven tone and visible signs of ageing. It’s well tolerated and suitable for most skin types, including those that find traditional retinoids too harsh.
Zinc Oxide
Zinc Oxide is an ingredient that forms a protective layer on the skin and helps reduce visible signs of irritation from environmental exposure.
Ceramides
Emerging evidence suggests that smaller ceramides support the skin’s surface and help maintain hydration and the appearance of a healthy skin barrier.
Hyaluronic Acid
The optimum size of Hyaluronic Acid for skincare is still a topic of research. Emerging evidence suggests that medium-size HA can support skin hydration and help improve the appearance of skin smoothness and plumpness.
Lactobionic Acid
Lactobionic Acid is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) that works as a gentle exfoliant and humectant. It helps to smooth skin texture and improve the appearance of dullness without the irritation often associated with stronger acids. PHAs like Lactobionic Acid also attract moisture, supporting hydrated and visibly refreshed skin.
Gluconolactone
Gluconolactone is a Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) with gentle exfoliating and hydrating properties. It helps to remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, supporting a smoother and more refined appearance without the irritation often linked to stronger acids.
*Ultimate A Gold (Retinal) may transfer onto white or light-coloured fabrics. For best results, we recommend using darker clothing or surfaces to avoid visible marks.

1. Calming Cleanse
For use as a gentle and calming cleanser: Wet Face with warm water, apply 2-3 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and gently massage on face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. For use as a makeup remover: Apply to a cotton swab and gently wipe makeup off.
2. Repair +
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing in the morning. For additional hydration, apply after Ultimate A at night. Also for use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms. For use on normal, dry and sensitive skin.
3. Zinc Shade
Apply 2 – 3 pumps following R+ in the morning. Note: Not intended for prolonged exposure to harsh sun.

The kit contains five products chosen to deliver meaningful anti-ageing results while remaining gentle enough for sensitive, reactive, or irritable skin. These are: Calming Cleanse (morning and evening cleanser), Repair+ (morning moisturiser), Zinc Shade (morning SPF), Gentle Glow PHA Serum (evening serum), and Ultimate A Gold (evening Retinal night cream).
C Forte (16% L-Ascorbic Acid) is a potent antioxidant serum, but may not be tolerable for sensitive or reactive skin and or rosacea. By omitting it from this kit, every product is gentle enough for daily use on even the most irritable skin, while still delivering anti-aging results through Retinal (Ultimate A Gold), barrier-strengthening actives (Repair+), and gentle PHA exfoliation (Gentle Glow).
If you are new to Retinal or have particularly reactive skin, it is advisable to introduce Ultimate A Gold gradually. Start by applying it every second or third night before building up to nightly use. If you find it too stimulating at first, we have a Super Sensitive Anti-aging Kit which has our 0.06% Retinal night cream (Ultimate A) instead.

"After many years of trying multiple cleansing products nothing worked for my rosacea I googled for specific rosacea products and found ESK. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain if it worked and base did the reviews I felt positive.
Within a day of using the rosacea kit my forehead was clearing up and I could see the redness going.
