Glycolic and Lactic Acid
Also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Glycolic and Lactic Acid exfoliate and smooth the skin surfaces.
Skin pH
Your skin's pH level sits at 4.9 and it's important to use skincare products with a similar pH. Products with higher pH levels can damage the skin resulting in dryness, itchiness and sensitivity. Subsequently, skin conditions such as Rosacea, Eczema and Acne can flare up.
Wet face with warm water, apply 2-3 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and gently massage into a lather on face and neck. Great for acne-prone skin, this can be used as a body wash (chest and back). Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

The key difference is that Hydroxy Cleanser contains Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids (AHAs and BHA), which give it a mild exfoliating action on top of cleansing. ESK has been the one and only thing that has helped my skin - and quickly! "My experience - My skin has always been terribly hard to control acne wise. I have struggled with acne for 15 years and have tried almost every product under the sun (or so it feels). I am used to a lot of cystic acne along the jawline and neck. After using these products, my skin broke out into a lot of tiny bumps and texture. "My skin has never been super great but it hasn't been super problematic either. It's that traditional combination skin that gets a lot of hormonal breakouts. "I’ve been very open about my sudden onset of hormonal acne after going off the pill. I’ve tried multiple products with little results, nothing really worth sticking to. I started to notice one product that was often mentioned by girls with similar issues, Ultimate A+ (retinal and niacinamide based) night cream. "I have very sensitive skin, with rosacea and break out regularly. When I first used ESK I was concerned my breakouts had increased and felt it was the Ultimate A, so reduced the use of this product. After reaching out to the team they suggested I use it nightly and sure enough the break outs reduced. So, having now used the products for 2 months I feel that the fine lines have reduced during this time. I'm still getting some small breakouts but not too often which is good. My skin feels soft every morning when I get up after using the Gentle Glow Serum and Ultimate A. I also really like the Zinc Shade as the sunscreen.
