Zinc Oxide is an ingredient that forms a protective layer on the skin and helps reduce visible signs of irritation from environmental exposure.

Calming Cleanse
For use as a gentle and calming cleanser: Wet Face with warm water, apply 2-3 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and gently massage on face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. For use as a makeup remover: Apply to a cotton swab and gently wipe makeup off.
Repair +
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing in the morning. For additional hydration, apply after Ultimate A at night. Also for use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms. For use on normal, dry and sensitive skin.

Apply 2 – 3 pumps following R+ in the morning. Note: Not intended for prolonged exposure to harsh sun.

Every product in this kit has been selected with one constraint in mind: it has to work on skin that reacts to things it shouldn't. That means no exfoliating acids in the cleanser, a lower concentration of Retinal than the standard anti-aging kits, a barrier-focused moisturiser designed specifically for reactive skin, and a PHA serum rather than an AHA serum for the exfoliation step. The actives are still evidence-based and effective — they've just been chosen and dosed for skin that needs a gentler on-ramp.
What's in the kit and what does each product do?
- Calming Cleanse — A gentle cream based, pH balanced cleanser. Can also be used as a makeup remover.
- Repair + — A morning (and optional evening) moisturiser. Designed to support repairing the skin's barrier function and improve dry and moody skin (without congesting skin).
- Zinc Shade — A broad-spectrum SPF 15 matte day cream with Zinc Oxide that protects against UVA and UVB skin.
- Gentle Glow PHA Serum — A night serum with Lactobionic Acid and Gluconolactone. PHAs gently exfoliate at the skin surface and hydrate while improving the effectiveness of Vitamin A.
- Ultimate A — A night cream with 0.06% Retinal and Niacinamide. This is the gentler concentration of Retinal in the ESK range — lower than the 0.1% in Ultimate A+ and Ultimate A Gold. Retinal is the more effective than Retinol and doesn't dry out the skin.
