Niacinamide
Also known as Vitamin B3. Niacinamide is a well-studied ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier and supports an even-looking skin tone. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile addition to many skincare formulations.
Retinal
Also known as Vitamin A, Retinal is a next-generation retinoid used in skincare to help refine skin texture and improve the appearance of uneven tone and visible signs of ageing. It’s well tolerated and suitable for most skin types, including those that find traditional retinoids too harsh.
Glycolic and Lactic Acid
Also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Glycolic and Lactic Acid exfoliate and smooth the skin surfaces.
Zinc Oxide
Zinc Oxide is an ingredient that forms a protective layer on the skin and helps reduce visible signs of irritation from environmental exposure.
Ceramides
Emerging evidence suggests that smaller ceramides support the skin’s surface and help maintain hydration and the appearance of a healthy skin barrier.

1. Hydroxy Cleanser
Wet Face with warm water, apply 2-3 pumps of cleanser to fingertips and gently massage into lather on face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. For added benefit on oily and acne prone skin; following lathering, leave for 10 minutes prior to washing off.
2. B Calm
Apply 1 – 2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing in the morning. Also can use on décolletage, back of hands and forearms.
3. Zinc Shade
Apply 2 – 3 pumps following B Calm in the morning. Note: Not intended for prolonged exposure to harsh sun.

The kit contains five products specifically chosen for oily and acne-prone skin - suitable for all ages. These are: Hydroxy Cleanser (morning and evening cleanser), B Calm (morning moisturiser), Zinc Shade (morning SPF), Smooth Serum (evening serum), and Ultimate A+ (evening Retinal night cream).
Acne develops when excess oil production and irregular skin cell turnover combine to block pores, creating the conditions where C. acnes bacteria flourish and trigger inflammation. This kit works by addressing each of these factors: the Hydroxy Cleanser gently cleanses away excess oil and impurities while providing mild exfoliation; B Calm's Salicylic Acid penetrates into pores to help clear congestion, while Niacinamide helps regulate oil production and support the skin barrier; Smooth Serum's AHAs (Glycolic and Lactic Acid) assist with surface cell turnover overnight; and Ultimate A+'s Retinal further supports cell renewal, helps clear existing congestion, and improves overall skin texture and tone over time.
Ultimate A+ is specifically formulated for oilier and acne-prone skin. It combines 0.1% Retinal with Niacinamide and 2% Glycolic Acid, making it the most targeted option for congestion, enlarged pores, and skin that needs extra support with texture and uneven tone. Ultimate A is a gentler, more broadly suitable Retinal night cream without the added Glycolic Acid, better suited to dry and super sensitive skin. Ultimate A Gold is the most comprehensive night cream, designed to tackle pigmentation, and barrier function simultaneously, and is better suited to normal to dry or mature skin types.
This is a really common concern, but oily skin still needs hydration - in fact, skipping moisturiser can cause the skin to overcompensate by producing even more oil. B Calm is a lightweight, non-comedogenic formula designed specifically for oily and blemish-prone skin. It won't clog pores, and its Salicylic Acid and Niacinamide actively support clearer, more balanced skin rather than contributing to breakouts. It repairs the skin's barrier function.
Smooth Serum is not recommended for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin, and Ultimate A+ is formulated for thicker, oilier skin that is tolerant of stronger Retinal formulations. "My experience - My skin has always been terribly hard to control acne wise. I have struggled with acne for 15 years and have tried almost every product under the sun (or so it feels). I am used to a lot of cystic acne along the jawline and neck. After using these products, my skin broke out into a lot of tiny bumps and texture. "I have very sensitive skin, with rosacea and break out regularly. When I first used ESK I was concerned my breakouts had increased and felt it was the Ultimate A, so reduced the use of this product. After reaching out to the team they suggested I use it nightly and sure enough the break outs reduced. So, having now used the products for 2 months I feel that the fine lines have reduced during this time. I'm still getting some small breakouts but not too often which is good. My skin feels soft every morning when I get up after using the Gentle Glow Serum and Ultimate A. I also really like the Zinc Shade as the sunscreen.
